Bailey White is sitting on the verge of history here at Allderdice High School.  She currently has 1,974 points, well past the legendary female players that have played here.  That list includes terrific players the likes of Jessica Vaneslow, Dayna Greenfield, WBNA star Edna Campbell and University of Kansas standout Mary Myers.  Along the way, Bailey has passed almost all of the male players at Allderdice also, the legendary Jackson Twins Timmy and James, Ramon Creighton, Jackson Blaufeld, Bobby Clifford, Justin Dobbs, Collins Dobbs, and now she is only 14 points away from tying the current all time points leader at Allderdice, four-year starter at Villanova Frank “Happy” Dobbs, a record that has stood since 1980! Come out on Tuesday, gametime 3:15 as the Dragons take on Carrick in a key City League matchup between the top two leading scorers in the city! >

The girls' tennis team season came to an end on Thursday after being defeated in the second round of the PIAA playoffs to Erie Fairview. Although the team's season came to an unfortunate end, the team had a wonderful season such as having only one regular season loss to Shady Side Academy while participating in the extremely tough Section 3 of the WPIAL and continued their PIAA/WPIAL streak of making the playoffs. The team should be very proud of their victory of Dubois on Tuesday in the first round of the PIAA playoffs. The team would like to give a HUGE thank you to Lara Garrett and Ila Waldrup our amazing SUPER SENIORS who will be greatly missed.

Girls Varsity Tennis vs. OPEN

Three doubles teams of Eveyln Lewis/Lara Garrett, Ila Waldrup/Emme Anish, Cecilia Starr/Myla Halasz represented the Allderdice girls' tennis team this past Thursday at the District 8/9/10 state tournament at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie. Although no teams were able to advance, the team of Eveyln and Lara were defeated in a heartbreaking tiebreaker to a team from Erie McDowell.  Good luck to the girls' tennis team on Tuesday in the first round of the state team playoffs at the Alpha Tennis and Fitness Club in Harmar against Dubois.
