Logan Golle, Major Rainey, Skye'Zir Reeves, Azerick Jetter, Pavle Slepcev and Ma'ayan Kohai have never stepped onto the court of a city league basketball game and stepped off with a loss in hand.  A magical run of 46 wins in a row for this senior class came to a fitting end yesterday with a 44-37 win against Obama.  The Dragons claimed their 3rd City League Championship in a row.  Their Freshman season was cut short due to Covid, costing them a shot at the championship that season.  

Pavle Slepcev stepped up when the team needed him the most, getting game MVP with 13 points and 14 rebounds  and 4 steals.  Logan Golle held the team together with 12 points, 6 boards, 4 steals.  PG1 stepped up and made the biggest play of the game with a beautiful, textbook charge in the final minute.  Lukas Stead was the unsung hero of the day, controlling the boards and not giving Obama any second chances, ripping down 15 rebounds and a timely bucket with 30 seconds remaining to seal the deal.  Kohai, Jetter and junior Asher Schwartz all contributed on both ends to finish the season on top.
